History

You play as a completely regular guy. He is, in fact, such a normal guy that he does not even have a name. And even if he did, it would be probably something like...

Bob. Yeah, let's call him that for now.

Well Bob needs to get to work. Like any other regular guy. However, somehow Bob managed to piss off an elder god related to luck the day before.

Now, everything he does can go wrong in a really bad way. But, not everything is lost. Luck comes in waves, and not even divine entities can alter the laws of balance and equivalent exchange.

Gameplay

You control the character around his home by using the mouse. A more in-depth explanation can be found in the game menu.

When you come close to objects, you get a prompt to interact with. Press YES to interact, NO to decline. Or simply keep walking.

You have a health meter and a luck meter. When the health meter reaches zero, you die, and get locked in one of the bad endings. The luck meter shows how high are the chances for a positive and for a negative outcome of any action. For an example, 4 green clovers (which is the max) means you are 80% likely to succeed. Or 1 green clover (which is the minimum) means you are only 20% likely to succeed.

Managing your health and your luck, try to take a bath and get dressed, then go to work.

Future updates

Although the game is finished, during this 2 days of grace period I plan to fix some bugs that I've notices while uploading the game.

Also, I will upload all art I've made. The assets will be available to use for free, although I would appreciate crediting.

Thanks a lot, to everybody who played and read trough this to the end.

The concept and the play on the theme were amazing! I never did quite get the good ending after playing a few times, though I got close once. It was a bit tough to get the player to interact with the correct object when in the kitchen as things were very close together which was a bit frustrating. The cutscene with the boss was funny too and all the writing was well done, great job.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I couldn't get the interaction system quite right for when there are objects too close to each other.

But I am really glad you enjoyed overall!
